Cell-level Thermal Characterization
This is some Isothermal Battery Calorimetry (IBC) work I did for a client in conjunction with a local partner lab. The (2) cells in this study correspond to (2) different commercial cylindrical cell brands. In this case, the client wanted to know A) how do the (2) cells compare against one another and B) how does the thermal performance of both cells change with different charge rates.
The next thing we wanted to know was how heat generation data from the IBC compared what we predicted for these two cells from the cycling data.
